01What industrial automation electronics can Digital Circuits manufacture?
As an industrial electronics manufacturer in India, Digital Circuits builds industrial control boards, PLC I/O boards, relay PCBs and relay control panels, panel meters and instrumentation boards, power supply and motor drive boards, and communication and HMI boards such as RS-485, Modbus, GSM and RF modules. We also offer box build and panel wiring, so you can receive a finished, tested unit instead of loose boards, from prototype to volume production.
02What is industrial automation PCB assembly?
Industrial automation PCB assembly is the manufacturing of the circuit boards inside automation equipment such as PLCs, drives, machine controllers and panel instruments. It usually combines fine-pitch SMT with through-hole parts like relays, terminal blocks, transformers and heavy connectors. Our industrial automation PCB assembly covers SMT and through-hole assembly, automated optical inspection (AOI), conformal coating and functional testing before shipment.
03Do you build complete control panels or only PCBs?
Both. We assemble bare boards for automation OEMs, and we also build complete relay control panels and box builds with enclosures, wiring harnesses, panel wiring and final testing. Delivering a finished, ready-to-install unit from one partner removes a separate assembly step from your supply chain and gives you a single point of accountability for quality.
04Do you handle low-volume, high-mix industrial builds?
Yes. Industrial customers often have many part numbers at moderate volumes, with repeat orders spread over years. We plan our lines and material management for high-mix, low-to-mid volume work, as well as high-volume runs on SMT lines with a capacity of over 1 million components per hour. Share your part numbers and annual volumes and we will suggest the right batch and delivery plan.
05How do you manage component obsolescence?
Industrial products often stay in production for ten years or more, so component obsolescence is a real risk. We track end-of-life notices for the parts on your BOM, flag at-risk components early and help you qualify alternatives or plan last-time buys. Every build follows the approved BOM and drawing revision, so changes are controlled and documented.
06Can you protect boards from dust, moisture and heat?
Yes. Industrial electronics face dust, humidity, heat, vibration and electrical noise, so we build for harsh environments. We apply conformal coating to protect boards from moisture and contamination, control soldering quality with AOI and in-circuit testing, and run functional tests on every board before shipment. Our engineers also review your design for manufacturability (DFM) before production starts.
07Can you source components for industrial boards?
Yes. We offer turnkey electronics manufacturing, where we source genuine, traceable components from trusted suppliers, as well as consigned builds using parts you supply. Many industrial customers choose a mix of both, supplying critical or long-lead parts while we source the rest. Full component traceability makes it easier to manage part changes and shortages over a long product life.
08Do you work with overseas automation companies?
Yes. Digital Circuits serves 38 clients across three continents, and we support overseas automation and instrumentation companies looking to outsource electronics manufacturing to India, including as part of a China+1 strategy. Our English-speaking engineering teams share regular updates by email and video calls, and we handle export packing and shipping so finished boards and panels reach your production line.
